In the article, the quality criteria of multiparametric technologies are analysed. An approach allowing estimating a significance of the criteria depending on the size of the area of key parameters’ self-similarity is proposed. As an illustrative example, this approach for the case of cast-iron rolls is used.
Key words: cast-iron rolls, mechanical properties, microstructure, area of self-similarity, fractal formalism.
