Scanning surface laser remelting of cast orthopaedic implants of single-phase alloys based on nickel and chromium with solid-solution hardening, increasing hardness and corrosion resistance in tissue substances, makes possible significant increase of the term of their safe stay in the organism.

Key words: scanning surface laser remelting, cast nickel-chromium alloys, dental implants.
