Current state of studies of interaction of the electromagnetic radiation with metal nanoparticles and dispersed systems based on them is considered. Some numerical data on this subject obtained in recent years are analysed. Results of investigation of influence of the adsorptive layer of a spherical metal particle on its polarizability and amplification of Raman scattering in external electric field are presented.
Key words: small particles, adsorptive layer, polarizability, Raman scattering, amplification coefficient.
