The influence of partial substitution of components of the 47.5 Ti—30 Zr—22.5 Mn eutectic alloy with vanadium on the alloy structure, phase and chemical composition is studied by means of the optical and scanning electron microscopy with using energy-dispersive EDAX analysis, X-ray phase and differential thermal analyses. As revealed, the alloying with vanadium leads to increase of the temperature of the eutectic melting, increase of the $\beta$-phase volume fraction, and decrease of the Mn content in $\lambda$-phase, and also shifts the boundary of a homogeneity region of the intermetallic (Ti,Zr)(Mn,V)$_{2}$ compound towards titanium.

Key words: eutectic alloys, intermetallic compound, solid solution, heat treatment.
