The structures composed of thin films of ferromagnetic metals on polyethyleneterephtalate substrates, namely, Fe, Co, Ni/PET, are studied for the manifestation of the magnetooptical Faraday effect within them. Influence of both substrate and material of thin films deposited on the polymer to Faraday effect in these structures is detected. In addition, magnetic interaction between the diamagnetic substrate and the magnetoactive films on it is confirmed.

Key words: deposition, thin film, polymer, Faraday effect, magnetization.
