The results of investigation of mechanical-thermal treatment of pipes as an effective method for the increase of durability and reliability of power equipment are presented. The experience of commercial operation of pipes manufactured from the mechanically and heat-hardened steel 12Kh1MF (DIN: 1.7715; WNr: 14 MoV6-3; BS: 1503-660-440) on the heating surfaces of the supercritical pressure boilers is generalized. Possibility and effectiveness of this method are shown on the example of capacities of Trypillia TPS.
Key words: mechanical-thermal treatment, steel hardening, durability, substructure, heat resistance.
