There are carried out an analysis of materials and coatings used for the manufacture of drill pipes, drill locks, casings, compressor pipes and couplings and their operating conditions, ways to increase their service life in aggressive environments with abrasive particles of rocks and under load. To improve the performance of drill and compressor pipes and their connections, a systematic approach is proposed, which includes a rational choice of materials (steels, aluminium and titanium feet), improved methods for calculating shell metal structures and their strengthening by electrochemical chromium plating in flow electrolyte to increase wear resistance and corrosion resistance. In order to develop a technique for solving contact problems for shell threaded joints, the article analytically determines the radial displacements and angles of rotation of the normal in a cylindrical shell of finite length caused by concentrated annular force and annular moment applied in an arbitrary section of the shell. The significant dependence of the coefficients of influence functions on the stiffness of the shell material is established, the distribution of displacements and angles of rotation along the axial coordinate is investigated.
Key words: metal shell, threaded joint, chrome plating, displacement, angle of rotation, concentrated load.
