Study of Kinematic and Deformation Parameters of Rolling of Compressor Blade Workpieces

The article presents experimental research of kinematic and deformation parameters of die rolling of compressor-blades’ workpieces made of titanium alloy ВT-8, using a section mill 330 of ‘Motor Sich’ JSC. The experimental results confirm that the strain unevenness is associated with intense shear, which is determinant in the formation of individual elements of the profile. Metal moves from areas of high reduction to areas of lower reduction in both the transverse direction and the longitudinal one. The use of uneven plastic deformation to control the process of forming the rolled products of different configurations and purposes is of interest.
