Here, there are proposed criteria for express-evaluation of wear resistance and fatigue of steel parts with electric-spark coatings, which are developed using the microhardness method, that characterize the resistance to plastic deformation and destruction of local volumes of material and allow drawing conclusions about structural changes in the studied areas.
Key words: steel, coating, electrospark alloying, microhardness, wear resistance, fatigue, express-evaluation.
