The problem of the stability increasing of deformed zirconium alloys under thermal treatment is considered, and the necessity of development of sanitary and hygienic conditions during a work with zirconium and its alloys, including scientific researches, is underlined. It is caused by the exogenous entering of zirconium into an organism, differential accumulation of it into various human organs and their pathological changes because of this.
Key words: zirconium, thermal treatment, deformed alloys, biocompatibility.
