In Cu—Al—Mn alloys containing 12—13% wt. Al and 6—10% wt. Mn, the correlation between the incomplete decomposition of austenite and the characteristics of thermoelastic martensitic transformation is revealed. The decreasing of hysteresis, $\Delta T$, is caused by the increase of the Cu$_{2}$MnAl phase amount, when the particles of the indicated phase are small and elastically deformed. In particles, internal stresses are induced and resist to a shift.
Key words: martensitic transformation, thermoelasticity, hysteresis.
