The influence of a stationary magnetic field on the deformation of titanium alloy VT3-1 at tests on kinetic indentation is studied. An explanation of the obtained experimental regularities based on assumption about the influence of magnetic field on the electron spins is performed.
Key words: magnetic field, kinetic indentation, contact electrical resistance, magnetoplastic effect, Zeeman’s effect.
