The interaction of fractional vortices with each other in the two-band superconductor is considered, and for the first time the possibility of dissociation of the composite Abrikosov vortices with a whole quantum of magnetic flux into the fractional components under the influence of microwave electromagnetic field is argued. Numerical calculations are performed in order to identify the threshold of such dissociation as a function of the amplitude and frequency of microwave current.

Key words: Abrikosov vortex, multiband superconductors, magnetic flux quantum, Ginzburg–Landau equations, London free energy.
