Reference list. All articles submitted for the 'Metallophysics and Advanced Technologies' ('MNT', in transliteration 'Metallofizika i Noveishie Tekhnologii') should have a relevant reference list of articles. Authors should acknowledge the works that influenced the author’s work. If the author is using information gathered privately, such information should be used only after proper permission from the source is obtained.
Financial support. The author also should mention clearly the financial support obtained in doing the work.
No plagiarism, No fraudulent data. All 'MNT' articles should be original. If an author is using a lengthy text from another source, it should be cited within quotes and the reference should be given properly. Plagiarism in any form will not be acceptable. The papers are routinely scanned for plagiarism using free online plagiarism checker tools (https://smallseotools.com/plagiarism-checker).
The same research in multiple journals. The prospective author should ensure that the submitted article is not under publication consideration in another journal. 'MNT' will not publish articles with the same exact material from another journal.
Participation in peer review process. 'MNT' authors can receive a proposition to participate in peer review process of an article. They should agree to make plausible revisions as recommended by reviewers and the editorial members of 'MNT'. However, refusal to do the revision with reasonable causes does not result in rejection of the submitted article. All authors are needed to correct any mistakes and retraction of incorrect information.
Authorship with multiple authors. All authors who have made a significant contribution to the article should be included as co-authors. An inclusion of people who do not contribute in the co-author list is inappropriate and will not be tolerated. All co-authors should sign a copyright transfer form before the final publication can take place.
All data in the article must be real and authentic. Works based on fraudulent data is unacceptable and will not be published. Authors should ensure the correctness and authenticity of the data. If the work involves the use of human subjects, it should obtain an approval from proper institutional authorities and a permission of human subjects involved.
All articles will be doubly peer-reviewed. The confidentiality of the reviewers will be respected. All reviewers should be academically qualified to review an article, should not use abusive language, and should deliver her/his review in a timely manner. The reviewer should try to be fair and impartial in reviewing a submission. The reviewer should not have any conflict of interest with the research, author, or the research funding authorities of a submitted article. In case of a conflicting interest, the reviewer should refuse herself/himself from the work. In any case the reviewer should refrain from using disclosure of any information relevant to the work to other parties.
The editor-in-chief (EIC) of 'MNT' has the authority to make final decision in the acceptance and rejection of a submitted article. She/he should do so after reviewing the submitted reviews of paper and consulting others editorial board members when appropriate in a fair and an impartial manner. The EIC should not use prejudice/bias of any kind against the author during the review process. The EIC or any member of the editorial board should not have any conflict of interest with respect to the article under consideration. Anonymity of reviewers should be maintained during the review process. When an error is detected, the EIC should notify publication of correction or retraction.
Monitoring/safeguarding of the publishing ethics will be maintained by the EIC and the editorial board. Guidelines for retraction of an article as discussed above should be followed. The EIC with the editorial board should maintain high levels of intellectual and ethical standards, without the interference of business needs. The EIC should be willing to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions, and apologies as appropriate. The EIC should ensure that plagiarism and fraudulent data are not tolerated as mentioned above.
